I have a jeep compass 2018. I moved to Canada from US. Now I am going to change the instrument cluster from miles to kilometers as I got one online which has identical odo reading. Once I replace the cluster do I need to reprogram the bcm? I have the obd reader and the Alphaobd app on my phone. If I am required to reprogram the bcm then which configuration should I change in the Alphaobd app? Please help.

Just to add to this thread I think i've spotted a feature:
On the newer models with the digital cluster (MY22+) if your profile has units set to km/h, then even if you switch the speed to mph on thd instrument panel, it switches it back to km/h every time you start the car.
You need to change it in the prifile setting and on the speedo.
